PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES

Exclusively only for CAG Employees

• Art: Creating a plane model after a visit to the Airport Runway
• Physics: Learning about how planes and birds fly
• Biology: Learning about butterflies and life cycles after a visit to the Butterfly Garden at T3
• Robotics: Designing a robot that can sort out luggage at a dashing speed

BASIC INFORMATION

Dates: 25 - 27 November 2019

Timeslot: 9am - 5pm (drop off starts at 8.30am)

Hero Types: For ages 6 - 12 years old

Damage (lunch and tea breaks included):

• 1 day adventure: $120.00
• 2 days adventure: $235.00
• 3 days adventure: $350.00

FULL PROGRAMME ITINERARY

DAY 1  Monday 25th November 

• 8.30am – 9.00am: Dropoff 
• 9.00am – 11.00am: Runway adventure – Observe the planes at close range and learn about parts of planes. 
• 11.00am – 12.30pm: Lunch break
• 12.30pm – 2.00pm: Make a 3D plane – Part 1
• 2.00pm – 2.30pm: Break 
• 2.30pm – 5.00pm: Take flight science workshop. Learn about the forces acting on the plane and how Bernoulli effect helps a plane to fly

DAY 2 Tuesday 26th November

• 8.30am – 9.00am: Dropoff 
• 9.00am – 11.00am: Robotics workshop: Introduction to Robot Dash. Learn how to use Dash and learn basic coding skills
• 11.00am – 12.00pm: Lunch break
• 12.00pm – 2.00pm: Butterfly Garden tour. Observe the life cycle of  butterflies and learn from the in-house horticulturist!
• 2.00pm – 2.30pm: Break
• 2.30pm – 5.00 pm: Make a Butterfly Life Cycle Book – Part 1 and Make a 3D plane – Part 2: Decorating, painting and varnishing of 3D plane.

DAY 3 Wednesday 27th November

• 8.30am – 9.00am: Dropoff
• 9.00am – 12.00pm: Make a Butterfly Life Cycle Book – Part 2
• 12.00pm – 1.30pm: Lunch break
• 1.30pm – 3.00pm: Robotics workshop: Dashtron to the rescue! Part 1
• 3.00pm – 3.30pm: Break
• 3.30pm – 4.30pm: Robotics workshop: Dashtron to the rescue! Part 2
• 4.30pm – 5.00pm: Photo-taking and Camp Debrief

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment of Fees:

• Full payment of fees is required before the start of the programme to confirm the place for your child. 
• Payment made is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• No refund will be given for any absence due to any reasons.
• Online Credit / Debit Card Transactions incur 3% additional charges. Please refer to more info in the ticketing section.
• November $11 giveaway promotion does not apply to this event.

Notice of Withdrawals:

• All cancellations before the commencement of the programme will incur a cancellation fee. 
• Cancellations done ten (10) or more business days before the commencement of the programme will incur a fee of $50. 
• Cancellations done less than ten (10) business days before the commencement of the programme will incur a fee of 50% of the camp fee. 
• There will be no refund for withdrawal on the day of the programme.

Medical Conditions:

• During registration, parents/guardians are advised to indicate if their child has any allergies, medical conditions or developmental and/or behavioural issues. This is to ensure that we fully understand the needs of your child. Please make full and truthful declaration as any non-disclosure of information may result at some stage in the teacher/facilitator determining that your child is not suitable for the programme. Should this be the case, we reserve the right to advise on your child’s participation and possible withdrawal. 

Media Release:

• The whole programme activities, will be recorded for the use of media and academic purposes. By signing up, it is by default that you have agreed and grant approval for Artistori Pte Ltd and Terra Minds Learning Centre to use the children’s photograph(s), written work, art work and voice in any academic portfolio, printed collateral, video, online platform or any other promotional materials. Should you disagree, please write in to us specifying your name and children(s) name(s).

Testimonials:

• In the event that we’ve received a programme or facilitator testimonial from you or your child during your child’s participation in the camp, by default, we may use this, or part thereof, in various online and printed platforms for other promotional purposes.
